Description

I created Nachi in middle school, and thus the original nachi was born. However, in high school I decided to make a nachi for each of my closest friends based on their traits. However, they were mostly stuck in limbo, until yesterday. Now, I have finally begun to work on them again, and my plan to to succeed in finishing each nachi for each friend's birthday gift.

The first one up to bat also happens to have been the first nachi to be created after the original. Moosebear was created with Luna ( Peach-Rings ) in mind, because she was my first friend in high school, and my only one for a while. Funnily enough, Moosebear is also the nachi that has underwent the second most number of changes.

Obviously, Moosebear was created with moose and bear anatomy in mind, and the nachi style of eccentric coloring. Like a bear, the nachi is stocky and mostly compact. Indeed, a viewer may see a lot more bear-traits to Moosebear, if s/he were to compare pictures, but moose traits are also apparent, mainly the face and ears, and the longer, and skinnier, legs than the average bear. However, if there were to be a close-up on the paw-hooves, one would be able to tell that I tried to make them into a mix between moose hooves and bear claws. They are separated from the main legs due to a hoof-like pattern, but they end more like paws than parts of hooves. Also, they may only be split into two toes, like moose hooves, but they end in claws, like with bears.

Most nachis were created by introducing two different animals that act like the person, but Moosebear was mostly created as a joke and was formed out of how much Luna loathed moosen and bears (yes, that was a shout out). The Moosebear's coloring, however, was based on Luna's favorite colors --hot pink and black--, though the paw-hooves have recently turned into an incredibly dark midnight blue. Originally, Moosebear did not have a proper eye-color, and I was tempted to make his eyes black, as such, but I decided on baby-blue, because the contrast seemed to work with the style. Also, I didn't feel like making both the paw-hooves and the eyes dark.

Happy Birthday, Luna!
