DL's Luxray

Yes DL's Luxray looks different from a lot of others, mainly due to the spikes on the bottom that seem like ram's horns. Other than that he is generally the average electric lion. I got a book on how to draw wildlife for Christmas so I decided to try and draw Luxray since one of examples was a mountain lion. So yes, this picture was based on a mountain lion and not an actual African lion, the king of the jungle. I like it though anyway.

The picture is drawn in pencil and colored pencil, the only medians I had with me on the cruise and the ones I usually use. Despite my worries over how the fur would come out when I used the black pencil over the regular one I think it came out pretty well. My favorite parts are the hind legs and the body's fur pattern.
